Yesterday, 26-06-2016 will continue to remain the minds of players and fans alike. The weather was clement and cool. The match kicked of a little over 17:00 GMT. It was a match between the Federal Medical Centre Owerri Intern Doctors and Medical Finalist of the Madonna University Teaching Hospital. The match was played on the Medical Centre Football field.

Even though the match ended in a 1-1 draw, the Madonna University team felt fulfilled because it is also on record that they won the senior resident of this same centre last two years.

The medical interns were clamouring for a comeback match since they were quite put-out by the persistent style of the medical students.
