Association Of Medical Laboratory Scientist Of Nigeria Congratulates General Buhari.

The National President, National Executive Officers and the entire members of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) join all Nigerians in congratulating Nigeria's President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR).

The President-elect sir, we very much believe that your victory at the polls was a direct reflection of the wishes of Nigerians based on your indelible track records of performance, integrity, credibility, passion for the masses, selflessness in public service and your persistent struggles for the good of Nigeria and Nigerians.
It is obvious that in every election, there must be a winner, no doubt, you were destined to be the winner of the 2015 Presidential Elections. This has been reflected by the outcome of the Presidential election.
AMLSN appreciates President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR) for providing a level playing field for free, fair and credible elections. History will remember him for being an advocate of democracy, a true democrat and a statesman per excellence.

Mr President-elect sir, we are particularly impressed with your passion for a better Nigeria and especially the health sector which from records, experienced great feat at your first coming between 1983-1985. We are optimistic that you will appoint credible, competent, unbiased and experienced administrators to lead the Federal Ministry of Health. This no doubt, will put an end to incessant crisis in the health sector in Nigeria. History has it that when an experienced, professionally unbiased health economist/administrator was in charge, our health sector in Nigeria ranked 4th in the whole of commonwealth nations. Regrettably, decline sets in drastically from 1985 soon after your exit as the then Head of government. Health sector is made up several Professional groups all of which have the capacity to perform optimally when given a level playing field, the needed motivations, necessary tools and enabling environments. This will in turn, promote Universal Health Coverage, reduce out of pocket health expenditures for all Nigerians, promote the achievement of health related MDGs among others.
Our Association will be readily available and willing to contribute our best professionally; especially in the areas of effective, efficient, reliable, affordable and timely Medical Laboratory Services in the health sector.
May your tenure be peaceful, fruitful and rewarding for all sectors of Nigerian economy and for all Nigerians (Amen).
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Signed:
Alh Toyosi Y Raheem-National President, AMLSN.
Adeyeye Adetunji Tam National PRO, AMLSN
