Sad: Mother-Of-3 Dies of Cervical Cancer Because She was Scared of Pap Smear.

A mother-of-three who was too frightened to go for a smear test has died of cervical cancer.
Amanda Booth was just 28 when she passed away on Good Friday, having only been diagnosed with the disease last year.
Mrs Booth, from Middlesborough, was mother to Demilee, 11, Leon, eight, and Lucas, five, and her family said she 'lived for her kids'.
She was diagnosed with the disease last June after she noticed she was bleeding, but had been too scared to go for a smear test.

She underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but was later told the disease was terminal and she only had weeks to live.
After being told her fate, Mrs Booth spent her final days trying to encourage other women to go to their smear test appointment.
She told her local paper, the Middlesborough Gazette: 'I would say to all women "go and get your smear tests done". I wish I had.'
Since her death, her family are also campaigning for the smear test age to be lowered so that other women are tested for abnormal cells than can lead to the disease.
