Cholera Ravages More Children In Epidermic

Some states are at this time, still battling with the increasing cases of Cholera outbreak in their jurisdictions. Currently, the worse affected states are Bayelsa, Anambra and Rivers States.
This current outbreak has once gain bring to the fore the lack of a healthy environment and clean, potable water to the larger segment of the society.

The mortality arising from this outbreak is more on children and women. Reports have it that there seems to be no end in sight to the ever increasing number of new reported cases. Doctors, nurses and other health workers have been sent to contain the situation but it seems a long term approach holds a better solution to the problem.

The politicians are way deep in politicking to care for any outbreak. A stitch in time saves nine. To prevent a major epidermic from occurring, we have to face this problems holistically and put a final stop to this disease. Short, medium and long term approach is need if we to stamp it out for good.
